From a room to a scenting brief.
Touch: Hold a room, then drag to move it. Wait for the highlight and “Drag to move room” cue. Use two fingers to pan and zoom, or drag empty space to
pan with one finger.
Mouse: left-drag rooms and objects to move them, with no hold needed. Hold the middle mouse button and drag anywhere on the drawing to pan. Scroll up
to zoom in and down to zoom out, centred on your cursor. Drawing tools use the left button when selected.
Drag corners to resize. Drag a diffuser to move. Drag a door to another wall. Tap a measurement for an exact size.
Smart snapping lines up room edges, corners and centres as you draw, move or resize. Diffusers align with room centres and other diffusers. Guide
lines show the exact match. Switch Snap off to move freely, press S with the canvas focused, or hold Alt while dragging. Doors already follow their
room walls.
Tap empty grid space or Done to clear the selection. Back to website takes you home. Your draft stays in this tab.
Zoom out freely. If you lose your layout, Back to plan centres and fits all your rooms. Keyboard: arrow keys to pan, + / − to zoom, Home or 0 to

Reading the scent map
Colour shows relative proximity, not measured scent intensity. Machine markers are symbols, not equipment drawn to scale.

This measures geometry, not scent strength or guaranteed coverage. Our team reviews airflow, ceilings, doors, power and servicing before recommending
equipment.
How the reference radius works
A useful visual. An honest calculation.
For these standalone machines, we divide the listed volume rating by the room’s ceiling height. If a separate area rating is lower, that area is the
limit. We then draw a circle with the same area.
Reference area = rated m³ ÷ ceiling height
Reference radius = √(reference area ÷ π)
Example: 1,000 m³ ÷ 3 m = 333.3 m², equivalent to a 10.3 m radius. A larger capacity produces a larger circle; a taller ceiling produces a smaller
one.
In Plan view, reach shading is sampled inside your room and checks straight paths around corners. It does not model airflow, concentration, door
leakage or scent preference. Suggestions try to reach the drawn area and avoid doorway markers; they cannot establish the correct equipment count or a
safe installation location.
In Scent flow, warmer colours mean closer to a diffuser relative to its reference radius. Where machines overlap, we use the nearest relative source
rather than adding their values. The animated traces are illustrative; their speed and colour do not measure scent concentration or predict
room-filling time. Actual CFD requires an airflow model with ventilation conditions and source data.
Scent flow uses smooth vector contours with 256 colour steps. Each source is clipped to the room area visible from its marker, so the colour map stays
sharp when zooming without painting through corners.
Open doors and ventilation can change distribution. HVAC systems follow ducted service zones and are excluded from these circles. Read manufacturer guidance on room conditions .
